Brian Rigby MBE

It is with great sadness that I report to our school communities that our founding Chairman of the Dean Trust has passed away following a brief illness.

Brian Dean Rigby MBE was the driving force behind the growth of the trust. He was Chairman of Governors at Ashton on Mersey when we were a single school entity.  Since 2005 Brian has been responsible for guiding us to our current position of 12 schools. His wisdom and vision will be sadly missed, but more importantly his energy, enthusiasm and care of people cannot be replaced.

Brian was a great ambassador and took public service very seriously. He always thought of others before himself and this is a great example to all of us.
