Governors Conference 2023
On Tuesday 4th July we hosted our first post-Covid Governors Conference. The event took place in the Great Hall at Lancashire Manor Hotel and was kindly offered ex gratia by our partners, Mellors Catering.
This was a wonderful opportunity for Trustees and Governors across all six of our Local Governing Committees to come together, network and participate in team building activities.
The conference programme was delivered by senior specialists from across the Trust, who provided updated Ofsted inspection guidance, feedback on our annual Governor feedback survey as well as updating governors on a new cross-Trust Behaviour Hub programme, which will be launched in September.
Governors and Trustees were able to share their views and make suggestions for improving how governance is developed across the Trust.
It was fantastic to be part of an event which clearly demonstrated their passion, dedication and relentless commitment to providing the best possible opportunities for all of our pupils.
